PROVIDING FAKE CERTIFICATES OF HAPUR’S MONAD UNIVERSITY, TWO ARRESTED PERSONS SENT TO THREE DAYS POLICE REMAND
On the complaint of Sh. Baljit Singh r/o #63, Village – Raipur Khurd, U.T. Chandigarh an enquiry was conducted by the Operations Cell, Sector-26, U.T. Chandigarh in which the complainant stated that one Narinder Sharma r/o #89, Village- Hallomajra, U.T. Chandigarh took Rs.50,000/- and issued him Mark Sheets of BA-1st, 2nd & 3rd year of Monad University, Hapur (UP). He was in suspicion that the Mark Sheets issued to him by Narinder Kumar are fake. The documents (Mark Sheets) issued by Narinder Kumar were verified from Monad University, Hapur (UP) and the same have been found fake. After enquiry, a case FIR No.203 dated 01-07-2014 U/S 420,467,468,471 IPC, PS-31, Chandigarh was got registered and accused Narinder Kumar S/o Ramesh Kumar r/o H.No.89, Village – Hallomajra, U.T. Chandigarh has been arrested on 01-07-2014. During interrogation accused Narinder Kumar disclosed that one Naveen Kumar S/o Madan Lal, r/o #55, Palam Enclave-I, Zirakpur (Punjab) was supplying the fake educational certificates to him and he was further supplying the same to various persons. Accused Naveen Kumar was also arrested on 02-07-2014 in the early morning. During further investigation, it has come to light that accused Naveen Kumar is a habitual criminal and a Case FIR No.482 dated 21-08-2013 U/S 420,467,468,471 IPC, PS-17, Chandigarh had already been registered against him for supplying the fake educational certificates in which charge sheet has been filed against him in the court on 30-01-2014. Accused Narinder Kumar and Naveen Kumar were produced in the court of Ms. Shifa, Judial Magistrate Ist Clast, and obtained their three days police remand to find out the involvement of other persons in such type of crime. Further investigation is in progress.
